INTERNET MARKETING STRATEGIES - USING TRAFFIC EXCHANGES TO GENERATE TRAFFIC

posted by Ned Nelson at  14:28 || under Internet Marketing

One of my favorite sources to generating quick fast and free traffic is through traffic exchanges. From what I can tell so far is that most gurus don't use traffic exchanges that much. My guess is simply because it takes to much time to generate a lead through traffic exchanges. The truth is, yes it takes some time to generate leads from traffic exchanges but that doesn't mean you can't generate leads. The only way you are going to generate leads through traffic exchanges is to simply know what you are doing. The reason why I will no matter what direct anyone to traffic exchanges as a means to generate fast quick free targeted traffic is because I know they work. And for people who are tight on a shoe string budget can quickly get their business exposed to thousands of prospects in a matter of seconds... Yes seconds.

The only problem as I said before is it takes time to start generating leads right away and that's where most people get frustrated and tired of traffic exchanges and then move on to something else. But what if there was a method to effectively generate more leads through traffic exchanges and intern more sales for your business would you follow that system? I'm sure you would. I've been using traffic exchanges for sometime now to generate leads for my business and I'm going to give you a few tips on the techniques and mindset you should have when using traffic exchanges to generate leads.

Now lets get to the "meaty" stuff. First when I say TE it stands for traffic exchange. When using traffic exchanges you must understand that the people in the traffic exchanges are their doing the same thing as you are doing and that is the are there just clicking away to get credits so that someone else can see there business. Now the question is how do you get those people clicking away to pay attention to your business? The answer is simply to use a splash page or a squeeze page to grab the attention of the surfers on the TE's.

So once you have that splash page in place to grab their attention it would be best if you had a free gift that the prospect might be interested in that you can redirect them to after the click on that splash page. You would see that more people would be very interested in that free gift instead of just joining your business.

Here is where most people give up. After you get your splash page and have it ready to rock 'n' roll you put that url into the traffic exchange and start surfing. This is where the time part is necessary. You won't see anyone signing up right away to get your free gift or service. You have to run that splash page for some time before someone decides to check it out. It's like watching a commercial on television... After seeing that ad over and over again you then start paying attention to it especially if it is related to what you might like. So the same goes on te's. You have to get that splash page to be seen by the surfers over and over again before you get their full undivided attention.

Once you get that surfer to click through to your free gift or service then you could get them to sign up to your list and build a relationship with them where the might be interested in your business later on.

There is more that actually goes on in the background but that's the basic guide to really generating leads from traffic exchanges.
